Already village elders have suggested that they be given the
hen for sacrifice to avert any pending curse to the village.
The elders’ attempt to feast on the hen has been met with
sharp protest from the area assistant chief Mrs. Ruth Ingosi who has dismissed
the ruling to slaughter the hen.
The administrator has maintained that the development was a
sign of blessing and asked the family members to protect the hen and immediately
impose fee on those willing to have a glimpse at the four legged chick.
