1.CAME to
Nairobi for the fisrt time in early 2000s.
2.For years
worked at her aunt’s food kiosk in the sprawling Gikomba market selling Uji and
other food stuffs to hawkers.
3.Worked as a
temporary sales person with a tooth
paste manufacturing company CLOSE-UP and was deployed at Uchumi Supermarket
Mombasa Road branch.
4.His initial
interest was in print journalism but diverted to electronic media when he
landed an intership with KTN as a business reporter.
5.His first
article (entertainment piece ) was rejected by the defunct, The Leader Weekly newspaper
owned by Royal Media Services.
6.At somepoint
in the year 2005 together with another journalist Jared Opiyo mooted a plan of
starting a monthly newspaper which was to be named THE CLASSIC MONTHLY, but the
plan flooped at its advanced stage due to financial constraints.
Later on, he
joined Dayster University to start his journalism studies while Jared Opiyo was
absorbed by Royal Media Services as the first Siaya based Radio Ramogi
Reporter.
7.He is a
stuanch christian and born again.
8.Went to St.
Gabriel’s Seminary School In Kisumu where he developed an ambition to become a
Catholic priest.
9.Developed
reading culture in his childhood days and would in most cases unwrap the meat
and read the old newspaper whenever he was sent to the butchery.
